More Parking and Shuttle Information
Hello Anime Detour Attendees,
Overflow Parking Lots –
The two overflow parking lots are the same as last year, however we are asking for a bit of help with these lots this year. Please be courteous to the employees who are working and also please keep the parking lots clean. The businesses who own these lots are graciously allowing us to use them.
Please do not park in any of the business parking lots that are not our official overflow lots. This includes Dairy Queen (the restaurant), Burger King, the strip mall nearby, etc. If you park in these lots you may be towed at your own expense.
If you are going to park in a handicap parking space, please make sure the tag is clearly visible and hanging from your rear view mirror, or you have valid license plates that permit your parking in these spots.
Shuttle Service –
All shuttles are going to be from 11 AM on Friday, through Sunday at 6 PM. We have two shuttles running during the day (one standard school bus model, and one handicap lift bus), and will be running every thirty minutes. Both Buses are provided by Kottkes’ Bus Services.
During the hours of 2 am and 7 am, shuttle services will need to be requested at Operations. For all shuttles requested during these on call times, expect a 15 to 20 minute wait before departure to allow others to arrive. If you are at one of the overflow locations, you may contact the DoubleTree at 952-835-7800, and request to be connected to Operations.
The shuttle will go between the following locations and are marked by our signs:

Sheraton
LifeTouch Building
Crowne Plaza
International Dairy Queen Corporate Offices
